About us

Welcome to Check Madeira

We are a Czech–Madeiran family of five - with our three beautiful daughters – living on paradise island Madeira. We met in Madeira in 2017, and since then we have become partners both in life and in business.

In 2023, we founded Check Madeira with a clear vision: to offer more than just accommodation. We rent traditional Madeiran houses and apartments, manage properties, and take care of every detail to ensure your stay is smooth and stress-free.

We believe in a personal approach. We are always here to answer your questions , share our local knowledge, and help you discover the real Madeira. We travel a lot ourselves, and we know how important it is to feel that there are real people behind your stay – not just an anonymous booking.

For your perfect holiday, we can arrange everything you need – from accommodation and car rental to unforgettable experiences such as whale and dolphin watching , canyoning , buggy ride , or jeep tours . And of course, we are happy to recommend the best places to visit so you can experience Madeira to the fullest.
